Hey guys, so basically Maka can see souls using a skill called soul perception.

If you're okay with her being able to see your character's soul, please post here.

Essentially Maka can see the size, shape, and color regarding the physical appearance of a soul. Most souls are round, but some have traits that may resemble the appearance of the person. For example, a person with a symbol on their face would probably have the symbol on their soul. They're not incredibly detailed though, and they only have a few defining features.

The size is determined by level of power, and also the size may change while a character is using a powerful attack of some kind. Having an average sized soul does not mean the character is average by any means. Some of the characters who are gods in the series have a soul that appears to be about the size of two fists while they are at rest, however when they power up or are in combat, the soul grows to encompass their entire body.

The other thing that Maka can determine using Soul Perception is the defining personality traits of a character. For example, from looking at her soul another character was able to define Maka as serious and hardworking. Just a few sentences, or if you'd like you can use the format below. Hm. I'd like to give permission for Helion, but there's a bit of a problem.

Namely, "Helion" basically amounts to two souls fused together, so I have no idea how it would be seen, whether I should describe each of the two separately, or try to establish a "fused" soul, mixing aspects of the two. Uh, opinions? Suggestions?

It's really up to you. :) Whichever you think is easiest~ It can be two separate souls, or one soul within another (A lot of people do that for characters that have a dominant part and then a hidden part) You might glance at Kenshin's for an idea? She described the two parts differently based on color~

Um, well he's a level 10, but I talked to Hils about this before he actually came into the game. Mostly we discussed the chances of him having a 'definable' soul. In Grecian philosophies, A soul was basically something humans possessed. It was the life bestowed upon them by the gods. So, I reasoned that he probably doesn't have a 'soul' precisely, as he isn't technically alive and all that, but more of an essence of being. IDK, still something to be hashed out with all the 'soul viewing' people.

Size and shape of soul: As for size, most of the time it's tiny, because he keeps his spiritual power pushed down as far as it can go by habit. When he stops holding it in, it's huge by human standards-he breaks things just by standing near them like that.
Defining Personality Traits: Strong willed and tenacious. Extremely passionate and dedicated, but also quiet and clear headed.

Size and shape of soul: It's very strange, and possibly disturbing, because somewhat like The Clown, it is constantly sending out tendrils to touch other souls. As for size, it's absolutely huge. In fact, it might not be visible inside of fac 1&2, Shinigami style. BUT it has a grumpy little face, with two long hair horns coming out of its grumpy little head, and a white Roman numeral I right in the centre.
Defining Personality Traits: Full of despair, full of rage, lonely, but at the core an extremely kind person. Just crushed by all the above.

Character Name: Emporio Ivankov
color of soul: Seductive Scarlet
Size and shape of soul: It's split down the middle-one side has thick lipstick and a huge grin, the other long eyelashes and a small smirk. Which side is supposed to be man and which is supposed to be woman? Who knows. It wears two crowns and has a great big afro.
Defining Personality Traits: GAY, GAY, GAY. Very accepting, very perceptive and calculating, fun loving.

Size and shape: A bit larger than you would usually see them in children - almost looks like an adult's - but with eyeslits on the front and tentacles just sort of floating out the back. The tentacles curl when she gets agitated; not much else is comprehensible.
Defining personality traits: Secretive, loyal, intelligent, there's a bit of crazy in there too (she communes with eldritch abominations in her sleep, one would be surprised it doesn't canonically affect her more than it already does), thoughtful. There are probably still some scars from being lonely for much of her younger life.

Character Name: Sora (Will probably have the most complex soul you've ever seen. /shakes fist at KH)
Color of soul: Um...Sora's actually a mix of like...six different colors because of everything that's gone down over the course of games and all the souls he has inside of him. All of them are happy and comfy though, most there by choice. Most of it's in the white, yellow, blue area but there are two sections that would be red, and dark red. Mostly it's light yellow in color and when Sora's in his Heartless form (which hasn't happened yet) it'll be red.
Size and shape of soul: It's a fairly large soul to accommodate all six people and their powers and Sora's always trying to strengthen himself so it may fluctuate in size.
Light yellow = It's just a sort of happy face most of the time.
Red = blank expression or malicious
Defining Personality Traits:
Light yellow = Strong, friendly, determined, giving, self-sacrificing
Red = Sora's Heartless has no emotions, but it might kind of be like its sucking you in and wants to feed on the darkness in your heart.
