Hey guys, so basically Maka can see souls using a skill called soul perception.
If you're okay with her being able to see your character's soul, please post here.
Essentially Maka can see the size, shape, and color regarding the physical appearance of a soul. Most souls are round, but some have traits that may resemble the appearance of the person. For example, a person with a symbol on their face would probably have the symbol on their soul. They're not incredibly detailed though, and they only have a few defining features.
The size is determined by level of power, and also the size may change while a character is using a powerful attack of some kind. Having an average sized soul does not mean the character is average by any means. Some of the characters who are gods in the series have a soul that appears to be about the size of two fists while they are at rest, however when they power up or are in combat, the soul grows to encompass their entire body.
The other thing that Maka can determine using Soul Perception is the defining personality traits of a character. For example, from looking at her soul another character was able to define Maka as serious and hardworking. Just a few sentences, or if you'd like you can use the format below. Size and shape of soul: Mostly looks like the typical soul, really, but it has a bit of a dour expression to it. Not quiet angry, but not happy. And a giant Geass symbol slapped on its forehead. - His power level is 6.
Defining Personality Traits: Serious, determined, lost/lonely, and deadly. (Shut up. That is SO a trait.)
Character Name: Ezio Auditore
color of soul: Red, :| nice and red
Size and shape of soul: It is about average sized, and normal shaped.
Defining Personality Traits: Strong, determined, protective, and a hint of vengeful (he's older in Fac, so it isn't really as strong as it used to be.)
Character Name: Cid Highwind
color of soul: Blue
Size and shape of soul: He's a level 7, so I suppose that his soul's size would be equal to that. And unless he can be smoking a cigarette and wearing his goggles, I don't think there would be much in the way of defining him.
Defining Personality Traits: Obnoxious, Loud, Caring, and Stubborn.
Character Name: Hermes
Um, well he's a level 10, but I talked to Hils about this before he actually came into the game. Mostly we discussed the chances of him having a 'definable' soul. In Grecian philosophies, A soul was basically something humans possessed. It was the life bestowed upon them by the gods. So, I reasoned that he probably doesn't have a 'soul' precisely, as he isn't technically alive and all that, but more of an essence of being. IDK, still something to be hashed out with all the 'soul viewing' people.
